Challenge elf: Classic Pin Up Look!

We had some fun this week recreating the Classic, pin up look for the elf challenge.  This look is all about the cat eye liner and red lips. We had a Dita Von Teese as our inspiration with her flawless skin, subtle cat eye, flirty lashes and of course her iconic scarlet pout!

Here is the finished look:   Classic Pin up Make up

To create this look we used:

pin up make up with elf cosmetics

Products include:

e.l.f Studio Matte lip colour in Rich Red|| Cover Everything Concealer in medium|| Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black|| Studio Conditioning Lip Balm in Romantic Rouge||e.l.f.  Natural Eyelash kit|| Studio Cream Blush in Vixen|| Studio HD Powder in Translucent|| Studio Lip Liner and Blend Brush in red.

For this look we kept the skin looking fresh but matte by applying flawless foundation to even out the complexion. We used cover everything concealer to hide blemishes and redness and set it with HD Powder for that gorgeous, silky finish. We added a bit of Cream blush to the cheeks for a flash of colour.

Lips were lined with studio lip liner and in red to give the lips definition and shape before filling in with Matte Lip colour. You can leave it like this or top it off with Lip conditioning lip balm like we have here for a glossier finish.

To recreate the iconic cat eye we used Studio Cream eyeliner for a precise and sharp line. Winging the liner out at the ends for the perfect feline flick. The look is perfected with a elf natural lashes for a playful look.
