Spring Makeup: Pretty Pastels

Do you need more pastels in your life? We have put together the perfect selection of e.l.f. products that will see you through Spring and Summer!

Spring is the time for #PrettyPastels and in this post we will show you some of our fabulous e.l.f. products which you can add to your makeup bag this season. We’ve included shades like mint, lilac, rose and nudes, which are classic Spring pastel shades. However, we’ve spiced things up by also adding some brighter purples and soft corals to add a pop of colours to your Spring look!

Pastel nail polish

Our favourite Nail Polishes for Spring are:

Party Peach

Desert Haze

Nude

Nail Polish Set in Vacation Trio

We’ve had some fun with these shades, and created some easy nail art using some simple French manicure stickers:

We’ve used mix and match combinations just to show you how many options you have by using the 6 shades above.

pastel eyeshadows

To add pretty pastel colours to your eyes we have selected 3 eyeshadows from our Studio Matte range in the colours Mint, Muted Mauve and Baked Cherry, which are in loose powder form.

The Brightening Eye Colours shown above are in Teal Dream and Hazy Hazel. Each Brightening Eyeshadow Palette includes shades suitable for a base, with built up colours in your favourite pastel shades. The elegant palette showing at the back is the Eye Transformer. The four shades included in the Eye Transformer are subtly pigmented in mint, beige, rose and lavender, and contain shimmering pigments which will give sheen to any eyeshadow you already own, transforming it in a pastel shade! Alternatively, you can also use this fantastic product on its own for a pale, pearly effect – lovely!

Pretty pastels lips

And last but not least, these are our luscious lip products which we think are perfect for Spring! If you thought pastel was just for nails and eyes then prepare to think again! The Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose is a colour like no other, with rosy-purple tones, it’ll leave a lilac finish on darker skin. The Moisturizing Lipstick in Velvet Rope is actually one of the bright colours we’ve included in this pastel collection. However we’ve mixed it with Party in the Buff (also pictured above) to create our own pretty pastel peach shade! The Studio Lip Stain in Heartbreaker is a light, peachy-nude shade that will add a touch of Spring touch to your lips.

Have you had your pastel revamp yet? If you have tried out a pastel look, we’d love to see it, so share your pic with us using #PrettyPastels via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
