e.l.f. Blogger Challenge: Festival Makeup

After the success of our Valentine Makeup Blogger Challenge we decided to bring the challenge back, but this time with a festival makeup theme!

What do you get when you give 10 beauty bloggers 10 products each and set them the challenge to create the ultimate festival makeup look?

Well, what you get is 10 beautiful, creative and colourful makeup looks that you’ll love not only for festival season but also for any Summer-time event or occasion.

We bet you’re keen to see the festival makeup looks! So let us introduce you to our bloggers…

1. Ysis from Le Beauty Girl

Le Beauty Girl Festival Look

Ysis

We’ve known Ysis for a while now, since the time she wrote a fantastic guest blog for us on our Contouring Blush and Bronzing Cream and we’re always keen to work with her to develop exciting makeup looks and let you guys know about our new products. We know that Ysis is a dab hand at both blogging and vlogging so we thought we’d get her involved in the challenge to create a flawless festival look for you all. The look that Ysis created is simply stunning, with rose gold tones, Ysis looks radiant and glowing – it’s the ultimate fresh-faced Festival look and totally on-trend with the shade selection!

2. Natalie from Discoveries of Self

Check out that flawless skin! What a stunner! We love Natalie’s egyptian princess inspired festival look. The gold pop of shimmer on the lids is set off perfectly by her headpiece and the green shade under the lower lash line adds a dash of colour that gives this look a modern festival vibe.  We want Natalie to come and do our festival makeup…like now!

3. Becky from Lipgloss and Lashes

Beautiful Becky is one of our all time fave beauty bloggers with her pretty pictures, dainty graphics and great writing style. We’d been wanting to get Becky involved in a collaboration for some time and we thought she could deliver on a soft and feminine festival look and she certainly didn’t disappoint! We love the purple tones that Becky’s used to create this majorly pretty and wonderfully wearable festival makeup look (also perfect for a Summer date night!).

4. Farheen from The Surreal Buzz

Farheen is quite simply amazing! We love her relaxed and friendly personality and we’re super jealous of her glossy hair and big brown eyes! We love how Farheen’s got creative and taken a walk on the wild side with her festival makeup tutorial, definitely a look to try if you’re planning to let your hair down and get a bit wild at the festivals this year! If you don’t want to go all out and try the tiger stripes, we think this look is simply stunning as a Summer all-rounder with its gold and coppery tones.

5. Gaia from Jolie Idee

Jolie Idee Festival Makeup for elfGaia from Jolie Idee blog roped in one of her friends to model her fabulous festival makeup look. We love the statement on-trend winged eyeliner teamed with flawless looking skin. A light pink lip and simple braid give a laid-back festival look that we love!

6. Joanna from Joanna Loves

Joanna from Joanna Loves

Joanna did an amazing job creating not just one, but TWO festival looks for you to follow. With her floral headpiece, golden blonde hair and pretty white outfit we think than Joanna looks every inch the ultimate festival queen! We can’t decide which of Joanna’s festival looks we love most! However we think that this one (pictured) for which Joanna used dark purples and blues to create a “mermaid” effect colour, pips the other look to the post. But let us know what you think! Head over to Joanna’s blog and let us know which look is your favourite!

7. Em from My Pale Skin Blog

Em's Festival Makeup Look

Em from My Pale Skin Blog

Looking like she’s stepped out of a magazine or in fact straight off the catwalk, Em bears an unbelievable resemblance to more than a handful of top models around the world. The blue shade Em’s used under the lower lash line contrasts fantastically with the peach shade used on the lids to really make her blue eyes pop. By keeping the rest of her look low-key and neutral Em really makes sure her eyes are the main feature of her look. If we had perfect peepers like that we’d want to ensure they were the main focus of our look too!

8. Daniela from Batom Num Palheiro
As you may or may not know we now ship to Spain and Portugal! We haven’t had the pleasure of working with many bloggers from the region yet and we thought we may as well start with one of the best! Which is why we chose the beautiful Daniela to work with. Unfortunately Daniela’s products haven’t reached her just yet in Portugal! However we’re on the case and hopefully Daniela will have her products soon so you can check out her tutorial.

 9. Amy from Amy Valentine
We know Amy is a fan of festivals, plus she’s a beauty blogger and vlogger which is the ultimate perfect combination for this challenge! Not only do we have total hair envy over Amy’s pastel coloured, long locks, but we’re also majorly in love with her laid back and stylish fashion sense. Amy started a new internship just as she took on our blogger challenge, so hopefully we’ll be adding her look for you to see soon!

10. Natalie McDonald from Shabby Chic and Tea
After one of our bloggers had to pull out due to illness, we decided to approach Natalie who recently created an amazing eye makeup look using our Long Lasting Lustrious Eyeshadows. Unfortunately Natalie’s parcel took a detour and we haven’t been able to get her the products in time for this blog to be published. However, make sure to check back regularly as we’ll be adding Natalie’s look soon!

We hope that you’ve been inspired to create a festival makeup look of your own! If you have then remember to share it with us on Twitter! Don’t forget to check back to see the looks from Daniela, Amy and Natalie.

If you want to get your hands on the 48pc Little Black Beauty Book used by each of the beauty bloggers featured in the challenge, then you’re in luck! We’re offering it for just £5 instead of £8 – which means you can get it in both shades for only £10! See full terms and conditions for the offer here.
