How To Contour Your Lips

A few years ago Kim Kardashian wowed the world with the secret to her beautifully sculpted makeup that always enhances her natural beauty.

And it seems the Kardashian-Jenner crew have struck again!

Last year the gorgeous Kylie Jenner (who’s fast becoming a beauty and style icon in her own right) shared pictures of her new lip look on her Instagram – and the world just couldn’t stop talking about her perfect pout!

Kylie and her glam squad put down her new, enhanced pout down to some careful lip contouring and we were pretty impressed with these mad makeup skills!

We asked you guys on Twitter what you though about lip contouring and if you’d like to give it ago and your response blew us away.

Which is why we’re here to give you the low-down on how to enhance your lips to make them appear naturally fuller.

So go grab your mirror and get ready to tackle this technique!

What you’ll need:

1. Mineral Lip Liner in Brown £3.95

2. Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Bark £1.95

Lip Contouring Tutorial

Step 1

Sweep a layer of powder over your lips. This will really give something for your lip product to cling to and help it remain in place.

Step 2

Using the lip liner, trace a line along the edge of your natural lip line. Along your bottom lip, draw a line in the centre and then one either side about 1/2 a centimetre away.

Step 3

Apply a coat of the Luscious Liquid lipstick. The fuzzy tip of the applicator will help blend out the lines you’ve just drawn for a natural effect.

Now you’re done! Easy as 1, 2, 3!

We’d love to see your attempts at lip contouring so share them with us on Twitter! You can find us at @elfCosmeticsUK.
